About Mo-Sheena

Kristin and Mo-Sheena met in Junior Year of High School. Their classmates would always compare their Asian-heritage background which they would laugh about all the time. Since then, they have been inseparable. They have supported each other under all conditions, no matter how challenging or difficult and shared great memories throughout the years. Being Maid of Honor is just one additional highlight Mo-Sheena is looking forward too in their lifelong friendship!

Believe it or not, Kristin and Serine met in a parking lot during their time at Morgan State University. It was pretty late at night but somehow a conversation sparked and the pair have been joined at the hip ever since. Serine believes that their carefree days in college help mold Kristin into the mature women she is today and because of that she will cherish those moments forever! With 10 plus years since they unexpectedly got together, it’s easy to say that these two will be friends forever.

Sophia is Kristin’s daughter and the sweetest middle schooler you’ll ever met. Unlike your typical 11 year old, Sophia is not afraid to engage with others and surprisingly enjoys sewing! With her persistent drive to do her very best, it's easy to see how she takes after her mom in more ways than one (twins). Sophia is not only excited to steal the spotlight but is thrilled to welcome Jamin & Jahleel to the Family.

Shane and Jamin met at the young age of 10 and have been best friends ever since...27 years if you're counting. They've gone through it all together - school, work, neighborhood bullies, and most of all growth. Shane is the closest thing to the brother that Jamin never had.

Delvon and Jamin met about 7 years ago and what started as a discussion about starting a travel business turned into a friendship that would last a lifetime. Delvon became Jamin's travel buddy and would come to serve as Jamin's "encouragement" to cut loose and have fun in places like Dubai and Peru. The bond between them has become inseparable.

Jahleel is Jamin's son and is well on his way to becoming a man. A senior in high school, Jahleel has a real talent in art and wants to pursue a career in graphic / game design. Jahleel is thrilled to finally see his dad tie the knot and be part of a new family.

She leans on her for guidance, support, solving problems, and of course - her opinion (whether asked or not- LOL). All best parts of who Kristin is, she learned from Diane & her father Lloyd.

Deborah has always been a caring and fun-loving but strong and resilient force in Jamin's life. Raising him from a child to a man, these qualities have naturally been bestowed upon him as well. Deborah has been Jamin's motivation to perform wonders and move mountains and ultimately finding the love of his life in Kristin. Though Jamin has found another woman to stand by his side, nothing can ever replace the bond between a mother and son!

About Lloyd

Lloyd, also known as the best chili maker ever, is the Father of the Bride. Hardworking, caring, and the king of dad jokes, Kristin can always call on him for help - even during an entire school year of virtual learning! During this time, Lloyd spent majority of the year in Maryland to help with virtual learning, providing greater opportunity for Jamin and the Father of the Bride Lloyd to develop a stronger bond. Lloyd and Diane are ecstatic to welcome Jamin into the family with open arms!
